A delightful dessert with rich chocolate flavor and creamy texture, easy enough for beginners to whip up.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten-free flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil or vegan butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave syrup
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave syrup (for filling)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, melted coconut oil, and maple syrup until a dough forms.
  3. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of a tart pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes; allow it to cool completely.
  5. Using a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate until smooth.
  6. Whisk in the coconut cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  7. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled crust and spread it evenly.
  8. Refrigerate the tart for at least 2 hours until set.
  9. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

Chilling longer than 2 hours will result in a firmer texture; avoid overmixing the crust ingredients.
