A fun and festive twist on traditional eggs, perfect for Halloween celebrations or any whimsical morning.

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying (can substitute with butter or cooking spray)
  • 4 whole black olives (for ‘eyes’)
  • 2-4 slices of sliced cheese (cheddar recommended)

Instructions

  1. Heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Crack the eggs into the pan gently, being careful not to break the yolks. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Slice the black olives in half and place one half on each egg to create spooky eyes.
  4. Cut the slices of cheese into fun Halloween shapes using cookie cutters, and place them on the eggs during the last minute of cooking.
  5. Cook until the egg whites are set and the yolks are at your desired doneness, about 3-4 minutes. Serve while hot.

Notes

Keep the heat medium to cook eggs evenly without burning. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
