Ingredients
6 large eggs
1 ripe avocado
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Black olives
Instructions
Boil the eggs: Place the eggs in a pot, cover them with cold water, and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove it from heat. Let them sit for 10-12 minutes, then cool in an ice bath for easy peeling.
Prepare the filling: After peeling the eggs, cut each egg in half lengthwise and scoop out the yolks into a mixing bowl. Add the avocado, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mash everything together until smooth and creamy.
Fill the egg whites: Using a spoon or piping bag, fill each egg white half with the avocado mixture.
Create the spider topping: Slice black olives in half for the body and use small slices to create legs. Position them on top of the filled egg to resemble a spider.
Serve and enjoy: Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Enjoy your spooky creations at your Halloween gathering!
Notes
For best results, start with eggs a few days old for easier peeling and ensure the avocado is ripe for optimal texture.
