Delicious, bite-sized sandwiches with ham, melted cheese, and a buttery glaze, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian or brioche)
  • 12 slices of ham
  • 12 slices of cheese (Swiss, cheddar, or provolone)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Layer each bottom with a slice of ham, then a slice of cheese.
  3. Cover with the Top Buns: Place the top halves of the buns onto the cheese to form sandwiches.
  4. Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Brush the Buns: Pour the butter mixture evenly over the top of the assembled sliders.
  6. Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Let the sliders cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh buns for best texture; avoid overfilling the sliders for even cooking.
