A comforting, home-cooked Creamy Chicken Alfredo that’s rich, hearty, and incredibly easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, diced
  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water and drain.
  2. Sauté the chicken in a large skillet with butter over medium-high heat, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Alfredo sauce in the same skillet by sautéing minced garlic. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Whisk in Parmesan until melted and smooth, using reserved pasta water as needed to adjust thickness.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta and chicken with the sauce in the skillet. Toss well until everything is coated and heated through.
  5. Serve the Creamy Chicken Alfredo warm, garnishing with chopped parsley if desired.
